The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards are the standards for learning, teaching and leading in the digital age and are widely recognized and adopted around the world.
There are currently five different sets of standards for education. Those standards are for students, teachers, administrators, coaches, and computer science educators. The ePortfolio links on my website will demonstrate how I have met these standards, along with reflecting on how I continuously strive to meet the national standards for teachers and administrators.
I have included my favorite leadership quotes on the left-side of this page. I strongly believe that educational leaders must be life long learners and model what they expect of others they lead. As Gene Mauch once said, "You can't lead anyone else further than you have gone yourself." The links to my ePortfolios below demonstrate how I'm modeling and encouraging other educators to work, collaborate, and think critically in this digital age.
"As we look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others." -Bill Gates
